    White Riding Camel pricing/demand?

    I saw a up today for 55k buyout on my AH. The seller barked once on trade that he was looking for offers, and with his 50k bid price I might be able to grab it for 40-45k.

    My questions are:
    1. What is the true selling price of this mount, for you TCG sellers? Median seems to be around 125k, but I know that often the true selling price is much lower than that. I've seen one of these camels on the TCG buy/sell thread at 75k without any bites yet.
    2. Is this mount in any particular demand in comparison to the other TCG mounts? My feeling is that since a camel mount is already so easy to obtain in Uldum, this mount is really only for the hardcore collectors and therefore would take an even longer time to sell.

    Optionally, I could use it as a bargaining chip to trade cross-server for TCG pets which might sell a little easier. With pricing data not really established for pets yet, and my spotty knowledge of my server's market for these, I feel like that might be dangerous as well.

    Thoughts?

    The ground-only mounts can be a tough sell. The rhino may be an exception (along with spectral tigers), but the camel could be tough like you mentioned, because you can buy 2 camel mounts from the Ramkahen faction in Uldum once you've the rep. Savage Raptors can be tough to sell, too. The flying mounts are easier to sell through. Servers with a large PvP community generally see more traffic on ground mounts, too.

    That said, 40k isn't a bad deal, but it could take awhile to sell. You could try at 35k, though...

    If you can get it for a good deal, let me know if you're interested in talking TCG/rare pets in exchange for it. I'm one of those hardcore collectors and I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices it tends to demand on my server.

    One thing I would look at is how important that 40k is to you. If you only have 60k and spending 40k of it would hurt your other gold-making opportunities I might pass. If you have 500k, however, and spending 40k wouldn't impact you at all it might be worth a shot.

    Well, I bit on it and managed to talk him down to 40k. I had ~250k liquid to work with so I didn't really need that 40k anytime soon. Now I guess we'll see how selling goes, but it looks like there may already be a lead in this thread.

    I bought one for 45k, and ended up trading it for several rare pets that I sold off for 80k or so (which is roughly what I had it up on the AH for). I had listed it for about 2 weeks before I got that offer, though. There aren't a lot of people champing at the bit to get one.

    You're better off trying to trade it;
    The demand even among mount collectors is extremely low merely because it looks almost exactly the same as the Gray Camel.
    The only real market for these are hardcore collectors pushing numbers or completionists.

    I'd suggest hopping over to the official forums in the Buy/Sell/Trade thread in the Achievements sub-section to try looking for something to do with it.
    I've noticed people are more willing to trade pets for these unpopular TCG mounts than lay pure liquid.
