    And on another note..I'm buying ALL cheap and moderately priced herbs that I see on the AH (though like I said earlier, I'm sure I miss tons since I can't always be checking). According to the consortium shuffler I'm making profit, but according to @Stede 's spreadsheet, I'm selling at a loss right now. @Stede @Kathroman any insight on this?

    I couldn't resist a comment about this. Even if it goes on for some time, it's not necessarily botting. Someone may be trying to drive off all competition before the expansion. Someone may be operating under 'Robin Hood Syndrome' ("glyphs are too expensive for regular players! I shall SAVE THEM from these greedy scribes!"). Someone may have a personal vendetta going against another seller, and the other scribes are simply part of the collateral damage. And there are folks who would crash the glyph market purely for the hell of it (lots of gold, bored, just like messing with things, etc.). To be brutally honest I was considering doing that on my own server just to mess with some old competitors, but the week I was going to start crashing things, someone beat me to it, lol. I know the seller who is doing it (we've both been in the market since the day inscription went live), and she is no bot.

    There may not be gold-based profit in some of these activities, but trust me on this one...when it's Auction House PvP, sometimes the reward isn't about gold

    @Kathroman
    I'm buying whiptail at usually 35g/stack and below, Cinderbloom at 30g/stack and below. Though I JUST made a deal with a farmer for Whip @ 26g/stack, Cinder @ 20g/stack, and volatile life @ 70g/20

    I use my inferno inks to make DMF cards. The decks have been selling...though VERY slowly (I think I sold 3 this month), and the individual card sales are slim to none. I also make mysterious fortune cards to try to supplement at 17g/each, but my barking in trade has caused other people to start posting and undercutting me, where before I was alone.

    Try throwing some numbers into this one: http://stormspire.net/professions/36...html#post33627

    I know, yet another SS right? I made this one to specifically be able to tailor it to your specific "sales" situation, though. It's not just about pricing, you should be able to figure out how to adjust the price weighting as it reflects individual card sales, decks, MFC's, etc.

    If you need any help with it, let me know - I have heard that some of mine aren't as "user friendly" as others.

    You gave your mats costs, but not your glyph thresholds. It's quite difficult to know. My spreadsheet allows for custom-inferno offsets given user-manual-entry of DMC sell prices and auto-imports all glyphs prices, calculating the mean of all glyphs by source.

    If homeskillit is walling you at at 30g, those averages will be low. That doesn't mean you're losing money.

    It means the averages are low.

    Whiptail is 6 BF inks, everything else is 5 (bc I know you're not buying Twilight Jasmine in bulk). Tune prices accordingly, find your threshold. I do whiptail up to 42g and everything else at 35g a stack. Makes inks cost me 7g. My threshold is 19g, bc I'm a bawss who can take a loss. If you're buddy came to my server, I'd adjust to 22g.

    That way, I'd never be selling at a loss.

    @Kathroman Ok, I'm definitely going to going to need some guidance on this I think. I'm very unsure what my average sell prices are since I so rarely sell DMF cards/trinkets. I also have not been tracking at all my % of glyphs, MFC, and DMF. :/ I also don't see anywhere on here that handles my glyph prices..but maybe I'm missing something. Do you have advice for me on how to figure this stuff out since I have so few sales?

    @Stede I'm trying to keep my inks at 7g/ea or below, and I have my glyph threshold at 23g, I *think* i'm in the black, but the spreadsheets just seem to differ on what price I can spend for herbs and stay in the black. I've been spending higher amounts lately based on the Consortium Shuffler than I had figured out using your method (mainly b/c there's been no herbs cheap enough and I ran out of ink), hopefully with this new farmer friend I've made, that will change.

    I'd start then by throwing in some general prices from TUJ or something for your realm. Probably a good idea to round down for good measure, too. If you just want a quick idea - just enter the trinket values and then adjust the weighting to 100% trinkets.

    The field for glyph prices is on the left side, about 3/4 of the way down. It has V. Life cost, MFC price, DoD price and then avg. price for glyphs. I threw the spreadsheet together pretty quickly, so it's a bit unpolished.

    If you just want to base it on glyphs and DMF, you can also adjust the second set of %'s to 100% glyphs.

    Once everything is entered, the first tab will show you how much each ink is worth for you and then the breakdown on herbs, appropriately.
