Should I roll the dice with Inferno rubies again?

Hello again, from Horde Thaurissan and currently there is about..200 inferno rubies up on the ah in between uncut and cut gems going for about 100g apiece, our elementium ore is going for around 41g a stack about 200 stacks of that with another hundred inbetween 60-70g. So..I have enough gold to completely buy out the ore and rubies an list it for the price that I want my two questions are should I roll the dice again? The few times I've done it in the past I never bought the elementium ore and manage to break even due to people undercutting me by stupid prices. Should I shuffle all the ore? Or should I simply just buy it and relist it for a bigger profit, with that being said I'm also sitting on about..100 inferno rubies in my bank as well. I really want to revive the jc market on my server as it's down in the dumps way too far. Thanks for reading

    No.

Folks have proven to be one step ahead of you in this game, and they seem to have enough rubies in stock to thwart your efforts. The times when such plans prove most effective are when a determined campaign can be consistenly waged over the course of many weeks.

A few people in IRC have been commenting that this appears to be a trend across the board. Looks like the bots are back on ore, so I'd tread carefully...

Ive been encountering this as well... a LOT of new comers posting HUGE walls (30-100 gems in one wall) at ridiculous undercuts (50g-100g undercut). I was buying out at first..but now that I'm seeing more and more people do it, I've lowered my floor on TSM. For now I'm observing and seeing what's going to happen, and I recalculated my profit margin using the new ore prices. I personally am only buying out and resetting now if it falls to ridiculous levels where it's definitely below my break-even mark.

Thanks for the advice peeps, really appreciate it. With those numbers I'm not even sure how to figure if I could shuffle and make a profit with the new prices all around, enchants are still going for decent prices so that's a definite plus but it's almost to the point where it's not even worth fighting the dwindling market on infernos. Thank heavens that I've worked out a deal with a alliance person so I can move my gems to the alliance side where they still sell in the 250g+ range. The alliance population is dead so i only sell like maybe...6-7 gems a day but for a drastically larger profit than on horde side.

They never left. There has not been an upheaval in bot-world since 4.3.1 first dropped, only waves when they take the time and risk to post in large quantities.

A short lesson, though: A Goblin's plans should never be so stubborn as to rely on the consistency of bots. In a 100% legit environment, cornering the market via a vertical monopoly is as much a long-term play as in any other market - including those in flux. That bots diminish its short term efficacy is something comparable to critiquing Michael Jordan's Free-Throw percentage.

A much better example, Kath, but I can't hate too much on Shaq, as we share an alma mater.

I don't know what server your on but I am buying up stacks of ore at 80/stack and selling the rubys for 200. Ore is payed for in rubies alone so i would probaly think its worth buying out the ah of ore at 41g/stack but that might just be me lol.
