1) excessively sending reports of "botters"/"offensive behavior" will eventually get a response from a GM telling you to temper down the reports.
2) as others have said people can have weird or set AH schedules. Add in a second account where people can post from work and home consistently and charts like that will show up. If you think a person is botting the AH test them on specific items, watch their character movements back and forth from the AH and try to talk to them, if all that fails then a) try and take advantage of the bot program by getting him to price low priced stuff or b) report it.

There can only be one Rewind Trader
Pictures shown so far are nothing compared to the main AH "bot" of my server.
He claims to be not botting and I can say for some hours he sure isnt, but you cant tell me this is one guy playing it without any automation.
Oh yeah he is a student so I know they have lots of time, but still :
Normally he is off from 6 to 11, this morning I had to get up at 9 and he was there again, I shed a tear haha
Isn't it possible that people are using multiple power naps of 90 mins (or even 110 mins) to post at the beginning and trailing of each hour for them to have a activity map of near on 24hr/7day? While this isn't likely there are a lot of people playing wow. Wouldn't that make it possible that someone (or multiples) on your server could be leaning towards obsessive compulsive??? Would that then turn them into a bot or just a typical OCD?
All I'm saying is that a heat map doesn't tell you the full story. It's just part of the story.
Forgot to mention though he always undercuts within 2-5 minutes on the clock on every active block in that picture which is where the frustration comes from a lot of fellow entrepeneurs on my realm.
This is also to show how bad it can get with some players and there is nothing you can do to stop them - only make his life miserable though for making sure he doesnt earn a lot by walling him on a lot of places. Im sure there are even worse cases available though than this.
It can get bad. That's why you look at different markets that are still worth cherry picking.
There's no real point in spending lots of time working out how to squeeze blood from a stone. If a competitor is making it difficult for you to make anything, then either put them out of business or find an easier market to make your gold with.
From my experience, Blizzard tend to ban bots in waves. While I also found that they do act on obvious bots that are reported there is a chance that it may take Blizzard weeks or even months to act on a bot. You're better off spending your time on something that will put gold in your pocket rather than worrying about what will raise your blood pressure.
It's not a bot. I also think its someone account sharing because he said he lives with a room-mate. He also said he has 2 accounts and would not tell me his main char, as to why i really dont know and dont understand those who hide behind alts. Ive kept the gems down to 30g each for about 1 week now but his heat map is still the same. Has to be 2 people with nothing better todo other than to treat this like some kind of job. Anyway's if people want to waste there time sitting at the AH all day and night have fun with that
Hello ladies. i can confirm that a: it's 1 person, and b: not a bot. But thank you for the compliments that i am super efficient at messing with young Orangeade here. The heatmap shows sales over a 2 week period, why is 'this person doesn't actually HAVE a sleep pattern!' not an option you raise? Because you're very sad, and very inept at crashing the market? In the last 3 days, while i'm fairly sure you've been trying to weasel info out of me, and trying to drive my profits down by crashing the markets, i've made 96k. what are you actually achieving here?
A little background on Orangeade, He claims to hate campers, but has a RAH sub so he can camp when he's not 'online', acts like he's sherlock holmes, but is very bad at it, and doesn't really do anything interesting with his time, so he tries to exert some control over other people using the auction house. He's finally found someone he can't screw over, and he makes this post. i thought Kilrogg was amusing before this boy tried to mess with me, now, it's like laughing gas every time i log in.
Thanks for the fun Orangeade, btw, i'm finding more out about you, than you are about me. =)
