Cross faction trading. What do you trade?

So i wanted to settle up a thread about ''What do you trade between factions to make gold?''

I started with enchantings mats, and now moved to cloths, and low level ores, bars, leather and gems.

    So in short message

Which items you use to make gold cross factions?

In this thread, i didnt really ask for advices, because its mostly about the server, (excluding alliance/horde only recipies, items in general) but just curious what people like to trade between factions, and do they keep all the gold on the other side or try to transfer it back. Which methods they use to transfer it (example buying just all possible profitable items back to their main faction, to earn the gold back there) for example

When i went xfaction i basically doubled up everything i dealt in on my main side, apart from glyphs as that is just too much to transfer over.

Basic idea is buy mats from whatever side is cheapest, craft items and sell on both sides.
If i see something significantly cheaper on one side i will buy it up and swap it over for an easy profit.

As for how i keep my gold, i am happy for it to be spread over both factions with my only initial concern having enough gold on my off side to purchase any cheap goods i see.

I figured out that its too risky and stupid to start moving the actual gold on the otherside. If im right neutral AH takes 15% off and when moving large amounts, even 5% is too much.

Anyways you can always keep the gold on both sides and buy everything which is needed and if you want the gold on the other faction, just send it there and sell it

The bulk of my cross-faction work has been in snatch list items. I have been distributing them across both auction houses because I have more than one copy of many of them now. So, it gives me two chances to sell them.

Whatever sells for more on the other faction, in large enough amounts to make it worth my time. Seriously. Enchanting mats, gems (raw or cut), Darkmoon Cards, and off-faction rare pets.

Gems initially were my bread and butter but they've slowed as ore on that side can be picked up for 35g/stack. Some enchanting scrolls get moved over, bags, etc. I leveled that bank alt to 15 and picked up inscription so now she handles a few glyphs as well.

I like to maintain a healthy gold level on each side, allowing me to capitalize on cheap mats and finished goods wherever they pop up. Of course, sometimes the bulk of the deals happen on one side or the other.

While I used to control the glyph market on both factions, I dialed it back a bit a year ago and assisted someone else to take over one of them. We've maintained good relations, each controlling one faction, and if I find myself running low on funds, we arrange a gold exchange cross faction avoid the nuetral ah fees altogether.

I've been doing this with a friend for awhile now. We've had some pretty good luck with flasks, decks and (a surprisingly big winner...) raw fish. All told, we've actually mostly focused on epics since neither of us want to invest too much time.
