Thread: Bots and Ore

    Bots and Ore

    Afternoon,

So i have a question i hope you can help me with, just like a lot of realms the bots are dumping vast amounts of ore on the ah for 40-50g a stack for elementium and 25-30g for obsidium now me im loving this buy>shuffle>profit.
However there seems to be so much more ore than demand for enchant mats which is one of my main ways to move the ore just this morning i brough over 400 stacks of combined ore just this morning and now theres even more when im already having a little trouble with moving my current stock due to the vast amounts i currentlly own would u buy more ore?

I tried reselling the ore but was very quickly undercut down to the amounts i am buy or pretty damn close, how do you deal with this situation.

The more ways you have to process the ore, the more you can move.

At the moment I'm DE'ing jewelery and selling some enchanting mats while making profitable scrolls out of the rest. I'm also transmuting part of the greens into Shadowspirit Diamonds, while transmuting more orange/purple/red into rare gems and selling cut. (Edit: Almost forgot you can also just try selling raw, especially on daily JC quest days.)

Of course, if it falls under the vendor floor then just buy->prospect->cut->vendor->repeat.

Normally after I'm done doing jewelery and transmutes I'll end up cutting and vendoring about a third of the Zephyrite I prospected.

Cut and vendor is more often saved for if you start seeing a lot of that 25g Obsidium, considering the vendor floor is generally accepted to be 56g a stack from 6 cut uncommons. Even then I'd only do that if I had a large stock of everything else I use 'em for.

This - the absoloute vendor floor for obsidium is 36g/sta (4 greens cut and vendored)

Asides from that - consider shuffling to SSD's? might be profitable to sell some raw, dependant on your server's market

Shadowspirit diamonds are very profitable on my server, so I suggest you follow the above posters' advice and look that up Check out Sterling's awesome spreadsheet if you aren't already using it!

The meta market on my realm is lets just say swamped the cuts often go for less the uncut diamonds, although u can on occasion get lucky and sell the agi meta for 200g+ which is still usually below mat price.
There are so many uncut diamonds on the market at any1 time its very quickly undercut i even tried selling in trade for 100-120g each were i can still make a decent size profit and had no takers maybe my realms is just made up of jewelcrafters .

I think the flood of cheap ore is making Jewelcrafters out of everyone. The past week or so the JC market on my server has had a large influx of sellers, causing prices which had been stable for weeks to drop rapidly.

I believe the greencut + vendor and blue cut + vendor floor is 53g per stack of 20, or 2g 65s per ore. I've crunched some numbers on the topic, please correct me if I am wrong, with links to source

I just want to respond that the vendor floor is closer to 54g than 36g as stated above. 36g (4 uncommons) could be considered the absolute worst case but over time (and quantity) you will see 6 uncommons and some rares.
