After a month, the stockpiling start the ROI

Well, after a whole month (well most than that if you count the time it took to amass the mats) the 500 stacks of Saronite ores finally start to move on the AH!

I was lurking the AH expecting when the price of Saronite/Cobalt/Titanium will start to increase. Turns out that both Saronite and cobalt, both ores but mostly the bars are going away real fast on the AH. And how profittable you ask?

    Saronite Bar > 55 - 80g per stack
    Cobalt Bar > 75 - 120g per stack

The prices are soaring now because there is so little of those ores now on the AH.

So check your existences now, maybe you can get some of this wave on your server.

I'd save half my mats for now, depending on how much you actually saved up. Prices aren't going to be peaked right now with people still burning off the odds and ends in their banks. Give it another month before you give away the last of your profits, unless you really need the money.

My stockpile on Wotlk ores / bars:

Current price on AH: 20G/stack - I'm holding until min 25G/stack (my average price on this is 12G/stack)
Current price on AH: 40G/stack - I'm holding until min 50G/stack (my average price on this is 25G/stack)
Supply is limited, and i have started offloading at 25G/each (my average price on this is 9G/each)

Still working on getting my Miner leveled up, so i can:
    --> Melt --> --> Transmute --> .

I have plenty of in stock, so I'm in no hurry, but i need to get my Miner up, since my main stock are in the (240 stacks = 2,5 GB tabs)

on my server has been absolutely flooded. It's going to be a while before I can usefully unload the ore. My average price is somewhere around 4g/unit, and I'm still seeing scattered offerings as low as 2.5-3g per unit for incomplete stacks.

I have 100 stacks of the stuff. Going to be patient and hope it ends up like Khorium

moving at 86g/stack as of last week. Smelting all the ore into bars.
at the AH for 15g each but I'll hold out for now. If saronite bar prices hold up, cheap Titanium Bar prices won't be possible.

Also if Titanium Bar stays at its WotLK prices I'll look like an idiot. Very improbable though.

Nowhere near this on my server, although prices are steadily on the increase at around 50g a stack. I'm holding mine for a bit longer I think. Are you on a high pop server Sterling?

Medium population. There's a lot of ore available, but nobody is smelting it and there's plenty of demand.

Titanium will not end up like Khorium, ever. Khorium was a very rare spawn in Outlands, so you had to get lucky with the spawns. This makes it incredibly valuable because there is no guaranteed location where to find it. In Wrath, they made the spawn rate a little less rare for the mineral, so you could find Titanium in certain pockets of SB, Icecrown, and Storm Peaks a little more commonly. It's almost guaranteed to be spawned in Wintergrasp.

I've leveled mining to 500 in Northrend a few times now, and twice I've done it in Wintergrasp. Titanium seems to be everywhere since the spawn chance is rather high, and I'm sitting on a nice buffer of Titansteel now, simply because I used my Kirin'Tor ring and headed out there simply to level. The farmers aren't hitting it up like they used to (adding some value to it) and there are usually only a few people actually doing the circuit there. Titanium still has value to Engineers, but not like Khorium. You also collect an insane amount of Saronite in that time because Rich Veins are common, so add Alchemist and you have a common mineral.

Titanium in it's ore state is practically pointless again. I could see an argument to cut epic gems for levelers, or maybe for the cheapskate 85s that are purple crazed, but really there's not a valid point to do it in bulk.

    Hi

My realm in the EU is classed by blizzard as medium population. I have 2 guild bank tabs filled up with saronite ore that i purchased at 9g a stack so far the price per stack of 20 hasn't risen above 17g a stack or 35g a stack as bars. i think i'll hold on to a it a bit longer.

One thing i have noticed is everyone selling uncut Wotlk Rare colour gems at 4g a piece but they are slowing down which is funny as the main stam/strength/agi/intellect and haste gems still sell very well. i am currently selling 4 to 6 a day for 48g a piece and there is only 1 other person selling these.

On my server Saronite isn't doing much, However I am selling stacks of for 85g a stack. Between my brother and I we are selling about 30 - 60 stacks a day @ 85g, though we do get undercut alot.
