Spend money to make money :- Resetting items

Dont be afraid to spend money to make money

Here Glyph of serpent sting needs resetting

Sales date for the glyph, sells pritty well so worth doing , you will also note the amount of glyphs i have bought , i tend to crash markets a lot to buy cheap stock before resetting on mass

Result of resetting, it wont stay this way for long but only need one sale at this price to offset cost of resetting, plus iam up on stock.

I'm jealous of your mind for being able to pay attention to doing that for potentially all popular glyphs. That would fry my brain.

I usally just watch items i have sold in the last hour , if I think one of the items is to low i will then hover over it to see sales data , I will then make my mind up if I want to reset the price.

In auctioneer turn on sales data for last 3,7 and 14 days, if you see you have sold that glyph 3 times in last week for 5g then reset it , better to sell 1 glyph a week at 58g then 3 at 5g

Thanks for the tip on sales data, I'd never delved too much into Auc's config outside of the basics in fear of dramatically ****ing something up

The couple times I've done glyph resets, I just hit up wowpopular.com and focus on the top 3 or 4 for every spec. I love that website.

Mypopular is good, but at the end of the day top 3 or 4 of each spec type is not top 3 or 4 in sales, I tend to to find Palas druids and DK to be best , take a look at MySales

To make gold you need to use your own judgment and not what other people tell you , its a start and gives you guidance , but at the end of the day nothing is equal to fact and proven sales.

If we aren't supposed to listen to what people tell us, what are we doing here? Are we all teachers?

Actually, you need to use your own judgement and what the stats (yours or otherwise) show you. That's why wowpopular is an invaluable tool, especially not having your own data to fall back on. Generally, the top 3 or 4 per spec will be the most reliable sellers. That's what people are buying, and it also encompasses a majority of the ones on your list.

Just remember: personal data can be skewed by the simple fact that one believes he can do better with certain classes, then specifically focuses only on those classes for resets/aggressive sells. A tool that crawls the armory telling you what most people are using, that's hard data on what people like. (And no, I'm in no way affiliated with the website).

But you can't forget that every server is different. And each glyph price is different on any given day for various reasons. You tools like WoWPopular to get you started, then adjust as demand calls for on your own server. I highly recommend learning the ropes manually first, before you start to auto post. It will pay off down the road.

I myself used Wowpopular to start out and then diversified on server supply. On some servers for example pvp glyphs such as Glyph of Polymorph and others of a similar nature will sell better than others. It all depends on your server type, population and playerbase. Every server will be different.
