    Coming along well, in the last bit now. As they say, "After you finish the first 90% of a project, you have to finish the other 90%." Did a bunch of polish on the tooltips today, so I don't rely on Wowhead to load `em. Had to handle randomly enchanted items, fun.

    Addon pretty much done, got some void storage and guild bank info. To do a full export looks like this:
    1) Visit the void storage NPC
    2) Visit your guild bank, and click all your tabs
    3) Open your personal bank, and leave the bank window open
    4) Type /goblinventory
    5) Copy the string to the clipboard
    6) Paste it onto the website
    7) Pick what you want to hide/show, and how many columns wide you view your bags/bank
    8) Publish!

    You can skip steps 1, 2, and/or 3 where you don't need that info, but if you want that info, you need to do a little running around. I wish I could grab void/guild/bank info without having to visit NPCs but the game client doesn't ask the WoW server for that data unless you do that.

    Web UI is close to done, I still need to let you mass-hide groups (so you don't have to click 98 times to hide a guild bank tab, for instance), and finish the final publishing piece that writes the XML to disk and gives you a static URL. Also need to cook up a couple export formats, but they can be released as needed.

    edit Actually, I'll probably just remember guild/void/bank whenever they get opened, and save it in savedvariables so it persists across reloads. Well, I know what I'm doing tomorrow..

    You'll still have to visit the gbank either way, but it's pretty easy to avoid making the user physically switch between all the gbank tabs (look at TSM_ItemTracker/data.lua lines 112-122 for starters). Also, I don't see why you don't just grab data from inventory tracking addons if possible (ie Datastore - ItemTracker won't work since it doesn't track BOP items) as that would save the user a lot of trouble.

    Other than the XML and CSV exports, the Web UI is pretty much done. Just gotta do some addon work tonight.

    When I was digging through the API docs last night, I figured out how one would cycle through the tabs and listen for the events that say the data is ready. I was iffy on it before, (since I would only refresh the item string upon command, and didn't want to wait on events that may never come) but now that I'm going the savedvariables route, it makes more sense.

    Reduced dependencies. Plus, it's not like it's hard to zip through some bags and the banks. It'd probably take me longer to learn to integrate those libraries instead of just using the Blizzard APIs directly, and managing my own savedvariables.

    DataStore's lua files is what I use the most to import WoW data into Excel. It's very clean to parse and get items (bag, mail, auction, bank) and other information listed per character. There is so much information in these files I seldom need to go anywhere else. Great add-on and little overhead!

    Goblinventory is live.

    Here is example output. Ignore the odd items, it's on a toon I haven't played since early WotLK, and a guild I joined yesterday for testing purposes.

    I didn't announce this anywhere else yet, figured you folks would find any showstopper bugs I missed before the rest of the world knows.

    Let me know what you think.

    @Erorus

    That actually turned out really good IMO. I look forward to using it in future realm forum ventures.

    Also, is there any way to not get items from places such as the guild bank even though I've opened it up?

    Might be intended to look like this, but the font used on the page looks distorted. Perhaps it's on my side - I tried enlarging/reducing the text, but it still looked the same.

    Edit: Had a pic but it looked correct, so I reduced the text even further and it looked correct, enlarging it quite a bit also makes it look correct. Seems this font looks really odd unless on a specific size. Not a big deal, I spose'.

    @Acry , I noticed that as well, but I assumed it was just my computer.

    No, but upon import, you can hide all guild bank items with one click per tab.

    Regarding the fonts: it's using a font from Google's collection of web fonts so I thought it'd be safe. What browser/OS?

    @Erorus- this is fantastic!

    I was about to call it a night, but decided to check in real quick. And of course, I seen this!

    I went ahead and downloaded the addon and logged onto my mog gear holder.
    Everything checks out good so far, with just the export and publishing.
    Here is what I have to show- http://goblinventory.com/jkqknm8c.html

    Tomorrow, I will play around with this a LOT more to utilize it for my mog business.
    I do like the pretty layout of the HTML where it's just like looking at your inventory, but online. The hide/show is awesome, too.

    I initially wanted just a way to export the item IDs over to a forum friendly version, but looking at this, I may redirect forum visitors (and even /w interests) over on to a link after I tailor the items to be shown and published.

    I'll surely play around with this throughout the week, and give you the play by play details! Love it, man! +rep for sure. Again, totally didn't expect this from a simple request!
