    Loot tracking?

    Greetings fellow entrepreneurs.

Is there an addon that tracks everything you loot for a set period of time? For example, I decide to farm Netherweave Cloth. Then I go all the way to Netherstorm and farm the Sunfury elves at Manaforge B'naar for one hour. I get lots of cloth but I also get a lot of Sunfury Signets, some Arcane Tomes, lots of grays to vendor and some greens to DE. I want an addon that outputs a list of all that dropped during the farming session to calculate an aproximate gold/hour rate.

I've been doing this manually by using the stopwatch and going with my bags empty so I know all I have is what I looted from the mobs. However, I was wondering if such an addon exists, it would be quite handy for those numbercrunching sessions.

So, do you know any addon that does something like this?

    Thanks in advance.

Mobinfo tracks loot that has dropped from specific mob (type & level). The data also displays percentage drop of single item per kill. However the info is only available when you click on the specific trash. A gold tracker addon with session reset can help you track physical gold, not tangible gold (gold made from selling/crafting cloth, rep items, greens, patterns, etc), gained per hour.

This is as close as I know as opposed to a single addon. Hope it helps.

Hi brnhld, this is my first post on these forums and I hope I can be of some assistance.

There are two addons which I use, which when combined could create almost - but not quite what you are wanting.

XLootMonitor which is part of the XLoot addon group

    And then there is FarmIt

Though to be honest, you don't really need an addon for what you are doing. Before you farm, sort your bags out so say, the first three bags are empty. So anything you get during that farming session is clearly visible. Write down how much gold you had before you started farming and then compare the difference at the end. Use the ingame tool /stopwatch to time yourself.

    Good luck

Thanks for the reply I'll be sure to check it out!

And yes, I thought the same, that you don't really need an addon for that, but it was a bit cumbersome to clean my bags, as I tend to carry a lot of consumables, gear sets (healing and DPS, and even PvP!) and I usually had free slots on all bags, but not all on one bag. However I managed to sort things out better and it worked. I'll be sure to check your add on recomendations.

    Thanks for your reply Sinshroud!

I have 1 bag for my other set of gear which also hold have my flasks/buff items/etc. I would wholesale swap in this bag when I raid and swap out the extra bag/profession bag. You don't have to empty your bag content if your swapping bag for bag.

Some of that depends on addons though. A lot of people use bag mods that radically change the bag interface. In that case, you would need to either turn off that mod or empty out the bags. Or, I suppose find some other way to get to a "known" state.
