    LF Milling Addon

I recently started leveling Inscriptions on my bank toon. I can already see that this will become my main source of gold. As I was spending gold to level the profession I was making back what I was spending almost immediately.

I was wondering if there was an addon that will automatically mill stacks of herbs for you. Something that you can set to automatically do if you have any stacks 5 or greater? I've found clicking on 10 or 11 stacks of herbs 4 times each can get a little tedious

There is nothing that will not run you afoul of the TOS. You have to click for each mill/prospect.

You can always try making a macro for it, which I ended up doing after spending days milling.

For me, I've spent about 60+ hours milling Cata herbs.

So for me it would be
    /cast Milling
/use Cinderbloom (any other herb) and just spam it on my keyboard while I watch tv. 1..1...1....1....1 etc.
The only problem I've had is that you need the herbs to be in stacks of 5.

You need a hardware event (mouse click or press keyboard) to mill. If you use Auctioneer suite or enchantrix you can configure enchantrix to pop up a mill window when you have enough herbs. Just look under automation in the Enchantrix settings.

Making a macro like what OopsWrongButton mentioned is probably the easiest way. I have one as following:

    /cast Milling
    /use Cinderbloom
    /use Azshara's Veil
    /use Heartblossom
    /use Stormvine
    /use Whiptail
    /use Twilight Jasmine

Admittedly, I won't mill Azshara's Veil... it's just too valuable in terms of other uses and it doesn't have the best chance of . Twilight Jasmine and Whiptail have the highest chance on the Burning Embers.

But using that macro and keybinding it to some key, you can hit that key every few seconds while watching TV or something else. And yea, again as OopsWrongButton said, the herbs must be stacked in multiples of 5 or the macro will stop working when the remaining herb count is less than a 5 stack (meaning you have 1 to 4 of a particular herb in your bags, instead of a multiple of 5).

Use Panda or My Prospecting Macros.

Something else that is handy when getting into Inscription is know about Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 herbs. Which herbs drop which pigment and how much of that pigment they drop on average.
[Chart/Reference Table] Herb - > Pigment Mill Ratio (Pre-BC to Cata Herbs)

I use a simple milling macros like others.
I have bound this macro to one ot the mousebuttons when I choose the 2nd set of keybindings
I have turned Auto looting on.
I make sure I only have full stacks,

When this is done - i just lean back in the sofa with the mouse in my hand and click every 3-4 second, while watching TV. I dont have to look at the screen. 1 click = herbs are milled, and autolooted. I don't have to point anywhere - just click.

Sounds simpel and it is, but it has made my milling a lotless painfull - I have also milled thoudsands of stacks of herbs
